Ibn Sina University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Organizes a Central Ceremony to Celebrate Victory Day Over Daesh and the Liberation of Iraqi Lands
On the anniversary of the final declaration of victory and the complete liberation of Iraqi territories from Daesh terrorist groups, Ibn Sina University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a central ceremony under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Naji Al-Shareeifi. The event was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, the Deans of the Colleges of Medicine and Dentistry, alongside faculty members, staff, and university students.
The ceremony began with the raising of the Iraqi flag, followed by a recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha in tribute to the souls of Iraq’s martyrs. The program included speeches and poetic recitations that honored the heroic sacrifices of Iraq’s armed forces in all their divisions and formations, including the army, police, and Popular Mobilization Forces. These efforts culminated in a decisive victory made possible by the bravery of Iraq’s valiant sons, the blood of the martyrs, the sacrifices of the wounded heroes, and the enduring patience of the nation’s mothers.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Abbas Naji Al-Shareeifi emphasized that this day is a proud testament to Iraq’s security forces, bringing great tidings to the Iraqi people. He expressed his deep appreciation for the sacrifices to achieve this triumph and extended his wishes for their continued success in their mission to defend our country.
The ceremony concluded by praying for the protection of Iraq, the mercy of its martyrs, the healing of its wounded, and the unity of efforts to serve this great nation.
